As Associate Director at CMS, Kate has accumulated over twenty years of experience in providing business and taxation advice. In addition to assisting with annual income tax/GST compliance and financial reporting obligations, Kate also provides ongoing advice that is tailored to meet the particular circumstances of each of her clients. This includes but is not limited to the areas of capital gains tax, fringe benefits tax, small business tax concessions and the administration of self managed superannuation funds.

Over the years Kate has worked with both business and individual clients from a variety of industries including primary production, the medical and legal professions, information technology, property development and the automotive sector.

At CMS Kate works closely with Director Marc Bowyer and oversees his team of dedicated staff. She is involved in the review of a substantial amount of work produced by CMS and has a firm commitment to ensuring the provision of quality advice at all times. Kate currently is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, is a Chartered Tax Advisor and a Registered Tax Agent.

Outside of the profession, Kate is kept busy with her young family. She also maintains her strong ties to the rural community thanks to an upbringing in the Flinders Ranges, South Australia
